To cook the potatoes
-
Place the peeled potatoes in a pot with enough water and salt, seam until they are soft.
-
Make a puree and add the egg, salt, pepper and cheese. Gradually add the flour and knead it until the dough is soft but not sticky (if it is sticky, add more flour until it is compact and smooth).
-
Divide the dough into small portions and make a cylinder, cut it and shape it with a fork.
-
Cook the gnocchi in boiling salted water and wait for it to float to remove it (2-3 minutes)
To prepare the white sauce
-
In a sauté, add the butter and melt it.
-
Add the flour and stir until it is incorporated for 3 minutes (do not stop stirring at any time)
-
Pour the milk little by little until a cream forms, being careful not to create lumps.
-
Turn off the heat and add salt, pepper, grated cheese and reserve.
For the churrasco:
-
Prepare the meat, season it with salt and pepper.
-
In a hot sauté, add a drizzle of oil and a tablespoon of butter.
-
Cook the meat over high heat for 3 minutes from side to side. Rest the meat before cutting it so that it preserves its juices.
To serve
-
In the sauté where we made the sauce, we will add the gnocchi with a little water from their cooking.
-
Cook it until the sauce is well incorporated with the gnocchi.
-
Cut the fillet and add it on top of the gnocchi once plated.
-
Decorate with more grated cheese and enjoy.
